Alan fell in love with VWs when he first saw “The Love Bug” way back in 1969. From that moment he always dreamed that Herbie, the little car with “something special” would one day be his. At 17 he bought his first Beetle and developed a passion for VW’s with personality. Finally his lifelong dream came true. Alan is the happy owner of a lovingly restored Herbie of his own. He has always believed that VWs do have a heart. Now he is proud to share his beautifully restored Wedding Campervans with VW lovers at Classic VW Camper Hire.
June loves a wedding. She first fell in love with the magic and romance of the special day in 1969 as the flower girl at a family wedding. It was the most memorable day of her childhood. Weddings have always lucky for her. She fell head over heels in love with Alan at his brother’s wedding- perhaps it was his “Braveheart” kilt that turned her head. Her own wedding was the happiest day of her life, shared with her children, family and friends. The photos still make her smile.
